I landed in Lisbon, and now?

Are you a group? Or alone?  Traveling with your family? Carrying special equipment or luggage? Need a private driver?...

There are many different ways to get into the city from Lisbon airport. I can recommend you what is the best for you and your needs.

â–º Public transport

METRO

Since 2012 the red Metro line takes you in about 20 minutes fast to the center of the city.

AEROBUS

Stops at important points in the city such as Entrecampos, Avenida da Republica, Saldanha, Marquês de Pombal, Avenida da Libertade, Rossio, Praça do Comercio and Cais do Sodré.

(Every 20 minutes from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. A ticket can be purchased directly from the driver and currently costs €3.60. Large luggage racks inside.)

â–º Private transport

TAXI

Even with luggage it should cost you not more than 15 Euros to get to the city center. Be sure to ask for a receipt!

UBER

You can also use the service of UBER, which is a great alternative to the taxis.

RENT-A-CAR

There are different companies at the airport. Leaving the airport in a rental car drive to the Avenida Cidade do Porto, take the Rotunda do Aeroporto to gain access to the Avenia do Brasil, which leads to the city centre.
